This form is not used for NEW Historic Registrations or Changing from Historic to Classic. It is used for RENEWAL of your existing Historic Registration.
The form will lead you through a number of steps. The first step is choosing which type of vehicle registration scheme you are renewing your vehicle for. Historic or Classic
If you select the Classic – D, E or M plate option you will re-directed to our website page for instructions to renew your Classic (D, E or M plate)
If you select the Historic – H or J plate option you will be taken to the Historic Renewal Form to start the process of submitting your renewal paperwork. It will ask you to enter your ANSMA membership email address. (the one you used when you joined the ANSMA) If your email address isn’t recognised it will be due to one of the following reasons:
- You have typed in the address incorrectly (please use all lowercase)
- Your email address has changed since you joined the ANSMA and we are unaware of your new address
- Your membership financial status has lapsed due to non-payment of the renewal fee in January
If this happens send us an email to admin@ansma.com.au so we can resolve it for you. Do not ring the ANSMA phone regarding this issue
Once your email address is recognised it will display your membership personal details. The First Name and Last Name you enter into the Historic Vehicle Declaration fields must match your membership name. This is because as an ANSMA member you can only register and renew vehicles registered in your own name.
The form will step you through submitting your Historic Renewal paperwork (H & J Plates only) including your Pink Slip and Historic Vehicle Declaration, for the ANSMA to stamp, sign and send back ready for you to take to Service NSW to complete your Historic renewal.
The Historic Vehicle Declaration document is built into the form to make it easy to simply fill in the fields to complete. This generates and sends us a PDF of your Historic Vehicle Declaration. The form also has an area to upload a copy of your pink slip.
Once you hit submit at the bottom of the form you will receive notification we have received your renewal paperwork.
Next we check the paperwork you have submitted, sign and stamp, then send them back to you via express post to the address you have provided on the website form. Please allow at least 7 working days for your paperwork to be returned.
